Old Roses
This heading is used to cover a collection of roses that are mostly repeat-flowering. These historic roses with their bushy growth, nostalgic charm, old flower-form, overwhelming beauty and delicious fragrance become rightly more and more popular. You will find the class of each variety in the description. Old Roses are used in beds, in groups of three, as solitary bush or as impenetrable hedge. Planting distance is depending on use and variety and varies in general between 60 and 100 cm. Most varieties are best planted in groups of three (planting-distance ± 45 cm). They will form one bushy, dense shrub that will flower more regularly and abundantly, creating a greater effect in the border.
