Roses for Ground Cover
An interesting range of roses consisting of Miniatures, Floribundas and Shrub Roses. Because of their creeping, flat to arched overhanging growth and good health, they all share the ability to cover, in less than no time, with very little maintenance, small and large open spaces. During growing season they produce an enormous mass of leaves that suppresses weeds. In summer they produce a carpet of flowers. They also contribute to nature: as their flowers provide nutrition for useful insects, whilst their hips provide nutrition for birds during winter. In short: roses for ground cover combine business with pleasure! We distinguish 3 groups of ground covering roses: Rigo®Roses for Ground Cover, Hybrid Rugosa Roses and Other Roses for Ground Cover.
Amica
The small, double flowers bloom in large clusters and spread a soft fragrance. Spreading and bushy growth. Very disease resistant and rain-proof. Lovely, healthy, abundant- and continously flowering ground cover rose. Suitable for multiple purposes and tolerates semi-shade conditions.

Crystal Fairy
Small, double, rosette-shaped, white flowers in clusters. Short, spreading, partly arching growth. Flowering continuously in flushes throughout the season, well into autumn. This is a white offspring of the famous “The Fairy”.

Large, single, open, cup-shaped flowers of pastel-pink with a slightly scent. Hardy, thorny shrub with upright, spreading and bushy growth. Lots of yellow-red hips in autumn. Ideal for large hedges.

Fairy Dance
Large groups of small, double, rosette-shaped, blood-red flowers. Growth is partly upright, partly with arching branches which produce a closed mass of foliage at a height of 40 cm. Very free- and continuously flowering. Excellent for ground cover.

Trusses of small, fully double, raspberry-red flowers, unaffected by rain and holding their colour well. Very glossy, very healthy, dark green foliage, contrasting beautifully with the raspberry red flowers. Robust and healthy shrub with spreading, bushy growth. Very easy to grow, free- and continuously flowering.

The Fairy
Reliable, very tough and disease-free. Large, dense sprays of small, fully double, rosette-shaped flowers of clear pink fading to soft-pink. A very useful miniature-shrub with low, spreading, partly overhanging, graceful growth. Late flowering but then, continuous, until late autumn.

Small tot medium-sized, semi-double, scarlet-red flowers in clusters. Short, spreading, partly arching growth. Flowering continuously in flushes throughout the season, well into autumn. This is a red offspring of the famous “The Fairy”.
